Giraffe
A giraffe watches curiously from a safe distance. These tall animals understand how to use trees for camouflage. When they break into a run, they almost trip on their own feet.

Crocodile
Creeping through the jungle, we part the grass very carefully. On the riverbank a small crocodile sleeps peacefully. He will hit the water quickly if he hears any noise.

Leopards
Leopardsroam free in the Rift Valley of Kenya. They will sometimes jump a fence at night, and carry off domestic goats.

Ostriches
Ostrichescan be commonly seen in the countryside of Kenya.You may notice them while driving down a rural road. They peck at the ground like chickens.

Hippos
Hippos float lazily in a crystal-clear stream near Mzima Springs, Kenya. At night they roam 3-5 miles on land to graze on plants. By sunrise they venture back to the safety of the water.
